This Privacy Policy explains how XRECEIPT collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use xreceipt.store, app.xreceipt.store, checkout pages, support channels, and related services.

1. Who we are

XRECEIPT is a receipt generator and reseller dashboard that provides editable receipt templates, email receipt templates, selected paper receipt templates, receipt history, Listing Analyzer tools, vendor directory access, and related reseller workflow tools.

xreceipt.store is the marketing website. app.xreceipt.store is the dashboard/web app.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, XRECEIPT is the controller of personal data collected through the website and dashboard, except where a third-party provider acts as an independent controller under its own terms and privacy policy.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use XRECEIPT, we may collect the following types of data:

  • Email address
  • License key
  • Order ID, payment status, product purchased, and checkout metadata
  • Device or browser identifier used for license protection and abuse prevention
  • IP address
  • Browser type, device type, operating system, language, screen size, and approximate location based on technical data
  • Receipt inputs you enter into the dashboard, such as item name, price, order number, address, date, store selection, and related fields
  • Generated receipt history, if you use receipt history features
  • Listing Analyzer inputs and results, if you use the analyzer
  • Support messages and attachments you send to us
  • Analytics data, such as page views, events, traffic sources, and basic usage behavior
  • Security, error, and abuse-prevention logs

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as government ID numbers, health data, biometric data, political opinions, religious beliefs, or similar special-category data. Do not enter sensitive personal data into XRECEIPT unless it is strictly necessary and lawful for your own use.

3. Payment data

Payments are processed by third-party checkout and payment providers, including SellAuth and the payment methods made available through SellAuth.

XRECEIPT does not store full card numbers, bank account details, or full payment credentials.

Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide access to the dashboard
  • Deliver license keys and purchase confirmations
  • Verify payment status
  • Activate and protect licenses
  • Prevent license sharing, fraud, abuse, scraping, and unauthorized access
  • Generate receipt templates based on user input

  • Provide Listing Analyzer results
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve dashboard performance, layout, features, and reliability
  • Monitor usage, errors, and security issues
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and payment obligations
  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy

5. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable under GDPR or similar privacy laws, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract necessity, to provide the dashboard, license access, purchases, receipt generation, support, and related services
  • Legitimate interests, to protect the service, prevent fraud, improve features, secure the dashboard, and handle disputes
  • Consent, where consent is required for optional analytics, cookies, marketing, or similar tracking
  • Legal obligation, where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests

6. Third-party processors and service providers

We may share necessary data with service providers that help operate XRECEIPT, including:

  • SellAuth and payment or checkout providers
  • Hosting providers such as Vercel
  • Database providers such as MongoDB or equivalent database hosts
  • Email providers such as MailerSend or equivalent email services
  • Cloud or image hosting providers such as Cloudinary, if used
  • Analytics providers such as Google Analytics, if enabled
  • Security, logging, and infrastructure providers

These providers only receive data needed to perform their services.

We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

7. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

XRECEIPT may use cookies, local storage, browser storage, analytics scripts, or similar technologies to keep the website and dashboard working.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Remember license or access status
  • Protect against abuse and unauthorized access

8. Receipt data and user-generated content

When you enter receipt details, listing details, or other content into XRECEIPT, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use that data.

Receipt inputs and generated history may be stored if receipt history or similar features are enabled.

Listing Analyzer inputs and results may be processed to provide the analyzer output and improve the feature.

You should not enter information that you are not legally allowed to process, store, or use.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Typical retention periods may include:

  • License and purchase records are kept while your license remains active and for a reasonable period after for payment, dispute, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and legal purposes
  • Device and license protection data is kept while needed to protect access and prevent abuse
  • Support messages are kept while needed to resolve issues and maintain records
  • Receipt history is kept while your account or license remains active, or until deleted where deletion is available
  • Analytics data is kept according to the analytics provider’s retention settings
  • Security logs are kept for a reasonable period to detect abuse and protect the service

We may retain some records longer if required by law, payment disputes, fraud prevention, enforcement of terms, or legitimate business needs.

10. International transfers

XRECEIPT may use service providers located in different countries.

If personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

However, no online service is 100% secure. You use XRECEIPT at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your email account, browser, device, and license key secure.

If you believe your license key or account access has been compromised, contact support as soon as possible.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict certain processing
  • Object to certain processing

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications where an unsubscribe option is provided. Service-related emails, such as license delivery, support replies, security notices, payment confirmations, and important policy updates, may still be sent when necessary.

XRECEIPT is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
